I Fruit Tones sono un gruppo rock & roll di Manchester.

Il primo album della band, “Natural Selection”, è uscito nel 2019 via Greenway e Fuzzkill Records e ha portato i tre pezzi da Manchester all'Europa, su entrambe le coste dell'America, con un posto al festival Willy Nelson's Luck Reunion, condividendo il palco con gli eroi Flamin' Groovies e The Gories e persino una collaborazione con le cuffie Marshall insieme a Iggy Pop.

Il recente secondo LP “Pink Wafer Factory”, pubblicato da ALIEN SNATCH! e Fuzzkill Records, trasforma i racconti del tran tran quotidiano in un'esplosione di garage punk'n'roll ultra orecchiabile.

Auto registrata, prodotta e mixata in un vecchio cotonificio di Manchester e masterizzata da Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring), c'è tutto: il singhiozzo di Buddy Holly, la produzione degli Stones a basso costo, l'energia del pub rock dei Dr Feelgood e un tipo di choogle honky tonk demenziale che riporta alla mente i VU dell'era Loaded o, più recentemente, i Natural Child.

Raccolgono i frutti più maturi del passato e li mescolano senza sforzo come se avessero inventato tutto.

Quest'album è un modello di festa da ballo, e i vostri stivali da Beatles saranno bagnati in men che non si dica!

Sostenuti da Marc Riley, i Fruits sono stati in costante rotazione su BBC 6 music, comprese tre sessioni live nell'ultimo anno.

From northern Italy's summits, through clouds and airplanes, a wall of sound spirals downhill as hijss marks it's birth. Stimulated by the musical instinct of the band's mastermind Lois Lane (guitar & vocals), Maurice's (drums) ferocious hits and Pan’s (bass & synth) catchy scales the music does not only scratch the surface but goes deep under your skin. The band puts genres in the background zapping from punk over blues to space and psychedelic rock. The outcome is a melting pot called: cosmic grunge. That means whatever you want it to mean...
