GREEN MILK FROM THE PLANET ORANGE (JP)

GREEN MILK FROM THE PLANET ORANGE are from Tokyo, formed in 2001 after the breakup of the grindcore band 'No Rest For The Dead'. Searching for new musical horizons 'A' (drums) and 'Dead K' (guitar, vocals) went different ways for a while but came together again to build up a new band. 'Benjian' (bass) completed the first classic trio line-up which then was into jam sessions musically oriented at playing progressive rock with the emphasis on psychedelic and space.

The band released the 7'' production 'The Shape Of Rock To Come' (2001) and the full album 'Birth Of The Neo Trip' (2002) on their own label Ancient Records representing a special blend of space and jazz rock. This received good reviews from Japanese and American magazines. 2003 saw bassist 'Benjian' replaced by 'T'. The same year they went to USA to produce a new album but the work could not be completed. So they kept recording for themselves after going back to Tokyo. Finally it was finished at the end of June containing five well-elaborated songs. 'He's Crying Look' got to be the first album for Beta-lactam Ring Records - released in 2004 on compact disc as well as on double vinyl.

The band continued touring USA/Canada for several times and produced the next full album 'City Calls Revolution' - released end of May 2005. As for the next year two new EPs saw the light of day before they lost bass player 'T' in 2007. GMFTTO went to sleep then for an indefinite period only interrupted by the official announcement that new band mate 'Margarette H' was found in the summer of 2008.

GREEN MILK FROM THE PLANET ORANGE offers excellent space and heavy psychedelic rock and can be rated on the same level as other Japanese acts like 'Acid Mothers Temple' and 'Flower Travelin' Band'.

LOVE GANG (US)

Love Gang is a rock ’n roll band based out of Denver, Colorado. Formed in 2015, Love Gang is a throwback to the golden days of rock ’n roll when the amps were loud, the hair was long and the drugs were cheap. Influenced by the obscure and underground rock of the 70s, they manage to keep their sound classic and true while also creating original, compelling songs that don’t grow tired or sound as if you’ve heard it all before. Love Gang likes to play fast, high energy songs full of driving blues boogie, wailing psychedelic guitar solos and crunchy hammond organ.

THANTIFAXATH (CAN)

Thantifaxath were formed in Toronto, at the turn of the twenty-tens. The band signed to Dark Descent Records for the release of their eponymous debut EP in 2011 and the pact endures to this day. The release was followed by first full-length Sacred White Noise, EP Void Masquerading As Matter, and second album Hive Mind Narcosis.

Thantifaxath are a group draped in obscurity, with an entirely anonymous line-up and a band name originating from the kabbalistic tree of life. Instead of elaborating further, the band prefers to let the music do the talking. Dubbed avant-garde black metal by some, Thantifaxath surpass such mundane press-tags, instead conjuring forth an expansive, discordant and mind-alterating brew that’s never just black, thrash, death or doom metal psychedelia, but truly pushes the boundaries of metal as we know it.

HIEROPHANT (IT)

Since their previous albums Mass Grave and Death Siege—both released via Season of Mist—Hierophant have carved their path into the extreme metal underground with a relentless and furious approach.

Following the conquest of the most prestigious stages (Hellfest, Party.San, MetalDays), the Death Siege ranks pushed the limit to the extreme and ultimately forged the first live album in the band's career.

Recorded at Hellfest 2023, Gateway to the Abyss (released via Dusktone) is the feral representation of what Hierophant is about: hatred, blood, nihility.

Now, the path descends even deeper. A pact has been sealed with Agonia Records. The next offering is already taking shape, set to emerge in 2026. This marks another step towards the infinite darkness. There is no light ahead. Only the coming ruin.

FIRE WILL RISE. HAIL TO CHAOS.

Beyond this, the band has curated a riveting, interactive, lore-laden live performance, complete with a choreographed battle scene, to satisfy those who crave swords & sorcery; stoner & doom; battle-babes & beasts; Frazetta & Sabbath.

MOS GENERATOR (US)

Mos Generator formed during 2000 in Port Orchard, Washington from the ashes of a ten year off & on collaboration between it's three members, all of which are long time veterans of road & studio. DESTINY BOND (US)

Destiny Bond formed in Denver, CO in 2021, and released their 2021 Demo on Convulse Records that October. This was followed by a 4-song 2022 Promo released in June, recorded as part of a demoing session for Be My Vengeance, their debut full-length record recorded by Jack Shirley at Atomic Garden Studios. The recording session took place in the middle of a West Coast tour in ‘22, and was released on Convulse Records in June of 2023, selling out of the first press by that December. A live recording from their tour with Baroness was self-released via tape in April of 2024, with anticipated plans for a new release and more touring in the near future.

Since mid-2021, Destiny Bond has toured the full US and parts of Canada extensively with Baroness, Spy, Combust, Jivebomb, Spine, Punitive Damage, Cosmic Joke, Planet on a Chain and Candy Apple, and appeared on festivals such as Not So Fun Weekend and Just Another Gig. Destiny Bond embarks on a full U.S. tour supporting Gel and MSPAINT this fall as well as support dates for SeeYouSpaceCowboy. With lyrical themes ranging from the importance of tending to your community, self empowerment, and trans pride, Destiny Bond hopes to deliver the message that we can still find ways to fight like hell and hold our own spaces.

BIG LAUGH (US)

For decades, the upper midwest of the United States has been a hotspot for hardcore bands that bend genres and refuse to stick to tired formulas, producing acts like Husker Du and Die Kreuzen. Milwaukee's Big Laugh are here to continue that tradition, with a sound that finds them as much at home playing DIY shows in dingy basements as playing large clubs alongside some of hardcore and punk's luminaries.

Recently signed with legendary hardcore label Revelation Records, Big Laugh are set to unleash their debut album, Consume Me, in January 2023. It follows the band's 2020 EP, Manic Revision (11PM Records), which will also see a vinyl reissue from the label. Recorded with producer Matt Russell at Altered States studio in Chicago, Consume Me is an energetic blast of creative hardcore. Self-described “punks who listen to Judge,” Big Laugh work in a wide array of influences - from the blazing speed and harsh noises of Japanese rippers like Gauze and Bastard to the mosh-ready impact of NYHC bands like Burn and Alone In A Crowd, and even some melodic sensibilities akin to the aforementioned Husker Du. The album's lyrics hit close to home for the band, holding personal notions while still feeling outwardly relatable.

Focused on building their own lane, Big Laugh are not afraid of the work it takes to make the masses take notice. Booking their own tours, they have played alongside bands like Revelation Records labelmates Torso and Urban Sprawl, as well as Gel, Spy, No Pressure, and appeared at 2022's massive Sound and Fury Fest in LA that drew more than 5,000 people.

With high ambitions, Big Laugh is centered on creating whatever they want however they want, and Consume Me is just the next step for this young band.
