SPIRIT MOTHER (US)
Spirit Mother is a heavy rock band with their sound anthologized through a folk-informed and classical lens. Their dynamic and imposing wall of sound, coupled with a driving backbeat, grips through atmospheric strings and haunting vocals. Initially from Long Beach, CA, the band relocated across the United States residing in Buffalo, Los Angeles, and the high-desert of Eastern Oregon.
Originally formed by vocalist and bassist, Armand Lance, and violinist, SJ, their line-up has since solidified with the addition of their guitarist, Sean McCormick, and Drummer, Landon Cisneros providing a striking sound described by The Obelisk as lush and ranging, a “languid grunge blasted into outer space in the desert night”.
Lead singer and songwriter, Armand Lance, creates the bones of the music in the attic of his rural ranch between cattle working and mustang wrangling - a likeness to his father’s upbringing as an Ecuadorian cowboy. The group convenes at this cabin to write and develop their repertoire before hitting the road for tour nationally and abroad.
Spirit Mother received critical praise for their first album, Cadets “a distinct chance we’ll look back on this as an early gem from a band going places” - Sleeping Shaman.
In 2020 Spirit Mother was tapped for a pandemic project to create a live record/concert film in the style of Pink Floyd’s Live at Pompeii. Fans and critics worldwide revered the band’s performance in Live In The Mojave Desert Volume 3 which was released by Giant Rock Records and Heavy Psych Sounds Records. “Spirit Mother really goes for it with a killer set. In 2023, the band released their latest single “Locust//Dead Cells” and embarked on their debut European tour summer of 2023 with festival appearances at Metal Days, PALP, and Sonic Blast followed by a Full US Tour Fall 2023.
Most recently the band signed to Heavy Psych Sounds Records while in studio for their sophomore album “Trails” in between with regional west coast tours throughout the winter and spring of 2024. They eagerly await its release along with another coast-to-coast US tour this fall with stops at Desert Fest NYC and Levitation Fest in Austin, Tx.
LORD ELEPHANT (IT)
Lord Elephant was raised by Edoardo and Leandro in 2016, after the split of their previous “napalm blues” band Random’N’Roll and the entry of Tommaso Urzino behind the drum kit. With diversified and complementary experiences, the trio melt its passion for blues, stoner, fuzzy and improvised music into a personal journey of acid psychedelia, graced with heaviness and tasty riffs as well. After almost five years in the work, the DEBUT ALBUM seals the final result of the long road made by Lord Elephant in their musical research, finding in Heavy Psych Sound Records the best possible partner to expand their sound as far as they can!

DOPETHRONE (CAN)
Dopethrone is a sludge / stoner metal band that was established in March 2008 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada as a completely D.I.Y. project in the very core of Hochelaga. After only 3 weeks of legendary drunkenness and sacred bong worship, the members of Dopethrone had already composed 4 songs and were planning out a concept for an album.
A year later, the new album: "Demonsmoke" was materialized. In the spirit of "Do-It-Yourself", The Logo and concept was created by Vincent (guitar - vocals), the recording by Thomas (drummer) and the CD was produced by Vyk (bassist).
In 2011 Dopethrone released "Dark Foil" and the followed it in 2012 with "III" both were recorded by Thomas (drummer) and produced by Vyk (bassist).
Dopethrone has members of: Vatican, Blight, Unquintessence, (ex)Excreted Cowboy and (ex)Fatal Flaw.
THRONE (IT)
THRONE is a blackened sludge doom band formed in 2012 in the swampiest and most remote areas of Italy. They combine crushing riffs with a dark and oppressive atmosphere.
In the same year, they released their debut full-length album "Avoid the Light," produced by Moonlight Records. After five years of live shows across Europe, in 2017, they released their second full-length album "Consecrates," produced by Black Bow Records and Endless Winter. This album is more mature, darker, and anti-religious.
In the following years, they played numerous live shows across Italy and Europe with bands such as Conan, Belzebong, Ufomammut, Weedeater, Messa, and Hexis, gaining extensive experience and delivering brutal and devastating performances. SLUDGE UNTIL THE END.

D.I. (US)
Coming out of the streets of Fullerton California, D.I. was formed in the shadows of The Adolescents back in 1983 in a studio behind a pawn shop The Adolescents Social Distortion, Agent Orange and several other local early punk rock pioneers were the breeding ground from which D.I. was born. D.I. branded their own from of punk rock that complimented the Orange County Punk scene in sound & attitude.
