Ti bastava essere lassù, nel deserto, con tutti gli altri a divertirti. Ed apparivano loro, sul loro furgone, tiravano fuori la loro roba e la montavano proprio nell'ora in cui il sole calava, attivavano i generatori, a volte potevano stare semplicemente lì a bere birra. Altre volte era uno spettacolo; altre volte ancora si creava un ambiente intimo. Era tutto molto casuale e rilassato e mentre loro suonavano tutti potevano semplicemente bighellonare in giro. Erano una specie di house band. Non erano attivisti come i Black Flag. Era tutto molto alterato, confuso, era tutto molto mistico. ZEKE formed in 1993 with an original lineup of Blind Marky Felchtone, Donny Paycheck, Mark Pierce, and Dizzy Lee Roth. The band’s first release was 1993’s ‘West Seattle Acid Party’ single on Wrecking Ball Records, followed by the ‘Holley 750’ single on IFA Records. ZEKE then set out to bring their energetic recordings to the stage and established a more than formidable reputation as “the live band to beat” via concentrated regional touring. The self titled single ‘Zeke’ was then released on Scooch Pooch Records and was followed by the 1995 release ‘Super Sound Racing.’ ZEKE then hit the road again, unveiling a devastatingly high-octane live assault. The band was heralded as “Rock and Roll outlaws,” playing every conceivable venue that would have them. The release of the next full-length, ‘Flat Tracker’ a year later ensured ZEKE had enough audio ammo to stay on the road for months on end. And tour they would… In 1997 Man’s Ruin Records issued the live album ‘PIG’ to a rousing response. ZEKE then signed to Epitaph Records in 1998, releasing, ‘Kicked In The Teeth.’ ‘Kicked In The Teeth’ was mixed and engineered by Jack Endino and the album’s increased distribution and availability found the band legions of white-knuckled new followers. ZEKE recorded the follow up to ‘Kicked in the Teeth’ – ‘Dirty Sanchez’ – with Kurt Bloch of THE FASTBACKS. ‘Dirty Sanchez’ was released in early 2000. ZEKE’s second Epitaph release, ‘Dirty Sanchez’ rocked like a motherfucker. From the beginning quote of “Hey, he’s acting weird, it must be drugs!” to the last roar of the FLEETWOOD MAC’s “Rhiannon,” ‘Dirty Sanchez’ bludgeoned with tireless energy. Following ‘Dirty Sanchez’s’ release, bassist Mark Pierce left the band and was replaced by Jeff “The Kid” Matz. Throughout the time that ZEKE called Epitaph home, they toured relentlessly. The band paired up with anyone and everyone who would have them, hitting the road with the likes of JERRY CANTRELL (ALICE IN CHAINS), ALL, THE VOODOO GLOW SKULLS, DOA, THE SUPERSUCKERS and even a few dates with PEARL JAM. The band toured the U.S., Europe, Japan and Australia, spreading their rock while breaking all the rules. ZEKE played everything from stadiums with 50,000 people, to bars with 10 people, but the spirit remained the same; rock like this might be the last show ever. The band’s fifth full-length, ‘Death Alley’ was released in 2001. Even after a solid stretch of similarly themed and arranged albums, ZEKE’s ‘Death Alley’ began with the premise that “fast is just not fast enough.” ‘Death Alley’ continued the band’s full-throttle approach, utilizing ZEKE’s essential formula – a manic, methamphetamine lab distillation of early American hardcore and classic rock – to full effect. When you’re a punk band that is eternally touring, strange things are bound to happen that will have as much of an influence on the band as the music that got them started. KISS, BLACK FLAG, THE RAMONES and BLACK SABBATH all get a run for the money when it comes to ZEKE antics. When asked about some specifics, vocalist / guitarist Marky Felchtone rattled off a brief list: “Drum sticks in eyes, broken bones, incidents involving cake, drugs and under-aged females, Black Metal homicides, etc…you name it” Felchtone went on to note that the reason he and ZEKE love touring so much is that it’s “it’s the best reason to avoid real responsibility.” After leaving Epitaph and releasing 2003’s ‘Live and Uncensored,’ ZEKE began writing new material and set out looking for a suitable label that they could not only feel at home with, but one that could handle their “balls to the wall” rock and roll and enjoy the band as fans first. A contract with Relapse was inked in October, 2003 and saw the band join an artist stable (MASTODON, HIGH ON FIRE, ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY, BONGZILLA, etc) that are at once musically mated and touring compatible. ZEKE found their new home. Dal 2013 fedelissimi ai fumi allucinogeni degli Electric Wizard e al dogma dei padri supremi Black Sabbath, si inseriscono nel genere stoner doom. Inizialmente pubblicano una serie di demo e nel 2016 esce il loro primo vero e proprio full album Whore attraverso le Black Noise, Pirámide Records et Golden Dawn Recordings. Southcave Records, Creep Purple Promotion e Black Farm Records l'anno successivo pubblicano già una seconda edizione del disco. CORPUS OFFAL (US) The unexpected demise of Cerebral Rot came swiftly after two renowned cult albums. Yet just as expediently, a malodorous new organism arose in its place, Corpus Offal. Still featuring Cerebral Rot’s rancid core of Ian Schwab (guitar / vox) and Clyle Lindstrom (guitar), the Corpus Offal rhythm section of Jason Sachs (bass) and Jesse Shreibman (drums) now summon intensely elevated waves of stomach-churning nausea. The pair blends new wave nostalgia, early emo, and punk with a modern pop sensibility, contrasting upbeat rhythms against sullen, emotionally evocative lyrics. Forming in late 2017, the duo’s debut EP ‘Corsage,’ a moody, lo-fi set of self recorded synth driven tracks, gained the band quick traction and a series of tour dates through 2018. MATA è una parola che esiste in moltissime lingue, con significati sempre differenti. MATA è assolutezza e ambiguità in un viaggio trasversale attraverso l'infinità dei linguaggi. Il progetto nasce nel 2015 ed è attualmente formato da Alessandro Bracalente (Nevroshockingiochi, Swann, Gianluca Becuzzi), Mauro Mezzabotta (Nevroshockingiochi, Esdem, Il Catarro del Popolo) e Emanuele Sagripanti (Nevoshockingiochi, Esdem, Gianluca Becuzzi). C'è poi sempre con loro Manuel Kopf l'elemento aggiunto, produttore, polistrumentista e fonico (Tetuan, Resurrecturis, The Shell Collector, Kmfrommyills, Babau, Dor), capace di apportare un prezioso contributo tecnico e artistico al progetto. Alle spalle tre uscite discografiche: l'ep “ATAM” (Atypeek Music, 2017), l'lp “Archipel(o)gos (OFN Records, 2019) e l' ep "DGF" (OFN Records, 2020). Nel 2026 è Uscito l’ultimo lavoro in CD, Cassetta e Digitale per CAER e Geertruida, chiamato “Dreaming is a Combination of juxtaposed Images and Sensations resulting from predictive Calculations” SACHERTORTE I Sachertorte sono un duo techno/wave di Bologna, formato da Angelo Sava e Gianluca Modica. All’attivo hanno due EP interamente DIY, Engagement e Venus De Milo, usciti a pochi mesi di distanza tra loro. Entrambe le release portano con sé un romantico concept a misura di clubbing: commuoversi e ballare sotto le luci strobo. DEAR BONGO I Dear Bongo sono Simone, Paolo, Davide e Fabio. Il nome nasce da un'indiscrezione su Captain Beefheart ma la musica non ne ricalca il suono; piuttosto, ne ripercorre la vena grottesca, seguendo una direzione collocata tra il post-punk e il post-hardcore. A guitar-less, dual bass attack paired with drumming that can only be described as relentless provide the sonic backdrop for what is arguably the band's most compelling attribute – the Christian mysticism explored in their lyrics. A quick glance at the band's song titles and merchandise displays a distinctive, intentional visual language that sets the band apart from their contemporaries and has undoubtedly contributed towards their success thus far. Fresh off a 100+ show, 4 continent tour supporting their second LP “It is Written”, WORLD PEACE show no signs of slowing down, already hard at work at both a collaborative record as well as their third LP. Past tours alongside bands such as Portrayal of Guilt, Uniform, Nails, and The Body have proven WORLD PEACE to be one of the strongest forces in forward- thinking heavy music today. CALATHEA (ES) Calathea is a screamo/post-hardcore band from Bizkaia, formed during the pandemic in 2021. Paired with an intense and emotionally charged live performance, their sound blends post-hardcore with touches of post-rock, post-metal, and hardcore, drawing influence from bands like Touché Amoré, Deafheaven, Viva Belgrado, and Boneflower. After releasing their first EP, Cries From The Heart, in 2022, they toured throughout Euskal Herria, the Iberian Peninsula, and France. Their new EP, Flowers & Knives was co-released in 2025 with eight record labels, including Through Love Records (GER), No Funeral (CAN), and Engineer Records (UK). COSANOSTRA (IT) I Cosa Nostra si sono formati all’inizio degli anni 2000 dall’unione di due gruppi e di alcuni amici che gravitavano attorno ad Atlantide: Sumo e Summer League. Nel 2002 registrano una versione di “Nichilistaggio” dei Nabat per la compilation CD What the Hell We’re Still Doing Here (Rumble Fish). In seguito si perdono le loro tracce, fatta eccezione per un concerto tenuto nel 2012 ad Atlantide. Il gruppo torna poi attivo tra il 2015 e il 2018, periodo in cui registra l’LP Cani sciolti (Hellnation, Green Records, Assurd) e il 7” Bologna brucia (Assurd). Si sono nuovamente riformati per un concerto tenuto nel 2025 a Milano, in occasione del decennale dei Sempre Peggio. Using extended voice and microphone techniques along with electronics, feedback, field recordings, and traditional instrumentation, they explore the outer dimensions of sound through performance. They create a present tense sound with a vigorous, ritualistic delivery that seeks extreme release through physical exertion and psychic extension. They have collaborated with many other artists, both in structured compositions and through their dedicated practice of improvisation. STEFANO PILIA (IT) Stefano Pilia is a guitar player and electro-acoustic composer. His work has become progressively concerned with researching the sculptural properties of sound as well as sound’s relationship with space, memory and the suspension of time. Pilia explores these points of focus through instrumental practice and investigations into the recording and production process. MMXVI, the idea was to form a powertrio with a direct and rough way to deliver heavy fuzzy riffs. Their sound melts Black Sabbath style heavy riffs with the roughest garagepunk bands attitude -like The Stooges-, adding the psychedelia from the 70's to create their own style! The band released and promoted an "EP" in May 2017, with a promotional tour in Italy, Switzerland and Germany. In June 2017 they became a part of Heavy Psych Sounds Records (Bongzilla, Pentagram, Brant Bjork, Nick Olivieri, Fatso Jetson, Yawning Man, Nebula, Giöbia, Duel, Black Rainbows.) roster to promote their 1st album "FVZZ DEI". Released in September 2017, the album has brought the band on more than 70 european stages in 8 countries, giving them the chance to play in the mysterious DUNA JAM. In June 2018 the band recorded their 2nd album "MAGNA FVZZ", which has been released in October 2018 followed by a 75 gigs european tour, with highlights in festivals like Desertfest Belgium, HPS Fest, Le Grand Incendie, Gouha, Berlin Swamp Fest and Tabernas Desert Rock Festival. EYE OF THE GOLEM Gli Eye Of The Golem sono una stoner/doom metal band nata nell estate del 2019 da Hari e Alessandro già membri della band punk hardcore MilkSnake, nel gennaio del 2020 entrano in studio dove registrano il loro primo ep The Cosmic Silence e lo fanno uscire nell’estate del 2020 successivamente alla band si aggiunge Emanuele e la band da Duo diventa ufficialmente un trio.
